Job Description

Our client, a leading engineering company with the aim of providing quality and innovative solutions and services at the highest international standards to its clients is looking to hire a competent and proactive Commercial Manager  to help with their operations in Ghana

ROLE PROFILE:
The position requires a dynamic and proactive individual, who will manage and optimize commercial processes by helping the company to remain at the forefront of the industry by providing cost effective quality service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize commercial processes
  • Will be responsible for all accounting processes and contact for all audit issues
  • Will be responsible for cash management and liquidity planning
  • Responsible for preparation of annual budgets and mid-term planning
  • Prepare all required tax returns
  • Report to the parent company on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Complete accounting for all kind of transactions including classification, data entry & Filing
  • Will be responsible for monthly and yearly closing of accounts
  • Supervise accounting assistants responsible for cash/banking
  • Supervise store keeper in relation to accounts
  • Will be responsible for tax issues, insurance, customs and logistics

Required Skills or Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration/Accounting
  • 5 -10 years financial and management experience
  • Experienced user in accounting/ERP software
  • Experience with stock management
  • Experience in payroll management & HR
  • Experience in project controlling of a construction company
  • Experience with SAP Business One

REQUIREMENT

  • Strong Knowledge of all financial accounting processes (debtors, creditors, banking, assets, accruals, closing of accounts) and annual audits
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and power point)
  • Knowledge of Ghanaian taxation & regulations
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Must possess strong financial understanding and analytical skills
  • Must be solutions oriented and well organized
  • Reliability, resilience, commitment and personal responsibility
  • Must possess good understanding of logistics and custom operations
