A Reputable Private Health Insurance Company is seeking a qualified, experienced, competent, hardworking, dedicated individual for immediate employment as Marketing Manager
JOB OVERVIEW
- Play a lead role in defining policies, procedures, processes and strategies, particularly in the area of marketing
- Plan, organise, implement, control marketing operations of the Company
- Analyse competitor activity and other trend analysis and interpretations for improved marketing strategies.
- Develop effective marketing strategies to capture a significant share of the healthcare insurance market
- Identify new markets, develop new business opportunities and new products to suit the changing needs of the market
- Ensure cost effective marketing operations
- Ensure best practices in customer care and education for existing and potential clients
- Develop relevant marketing tools, product proposals, and presentations
- Schedule meetings with prospective clients for presentations and make follow-ups
- Ensure the realisation of marketing goals, objectives and targets of the Company
- Meet performance targets set by Management
- Provide leadership in developing business partnerships and strategic alliances
- Mentor the marketing department into one of excellence to undertake efficient and results oriented marketing activities for the Company
- Monitor and evaluate the activities of the marketing department
- Provide the vision and direction to the marketing staff of the Company
- Review and advise Management on market conditions relative to the Company’s sector performance
- Ensure that the marketing and the public relations of the Company are carried out with integrity
- Assist to develop short, medium and long term marketing plans and budgets
- Provide information and reports to the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)
- Assist in planning, organising and controlling the affairs for of the company for the fulfilment of its strategic objectives.
- All other duties which may arise in the course of your work
Required Skills or Experience
- A Degree in Marketing and/or a professional designation or its equivalent
- Minimum of 5years working experience in a relevant institution(s)
- Must be well grounded in current marketing strategy development and execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must exhibit the characteristics of persuasive salesmanship
- The ability to anticipate, identity and offer solutions to the needs potential and existing clients
- Good analytical, problem solving, organization and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-tasked in a busy, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult client issues through high quality service oriented interactions
- Evidence of a repertoire of industry networks is relevant
- Demonstrate good Business Intelligence
- Must be results oriented
- Must demonstrate good leadership abilities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package
