BioGrove Technologies Limited is an agricultural biotechnology company thriving in the development of microbial and biochemical technologies as nutritional inoculums to promote significant crop productivity and sustainable agriculture. As part of our initiative to introduce locally made products into the Ghanaian agricultural market, we have an opening for a Sales and Marketing Officer.

Location: Aperade (near KNUST), Kumasi

Required Skills or Experience

Educational requirement:

The ideal candidate will have First Degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing or related discipline.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Promote and sell company products to existing and prospective clients.
• Identify new business opportunities for the company .
• Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure company's products are always available to customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Advise customers on how best to use the products.
• Develop sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed  sales objectives.
• Maintain a database of existing and prospective clients  .
• Gather information on competitor activity.
• Any other duties required by management.
• The position is full-time; Work schedule may include weekends.

Desired skills and experiences:

• First Degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing or related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to interact with a global team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential as well as good oral and written communication skills. 
• Excellent team player.
• Strong personal drive towards achieving company vision.
• Professional and personal effectiveness (including confidentiality).

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s education, skills and experience. This role is also subject to non-disclosure agreements.
