Job Description

Our company is a Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) and a subsidiary of a multinational company. The Company has vacancies for highly motivated individuals with high integrity and a passion to succeed for hiring as: Regional Operations Manager

  • Location: Tamale
  • Reports To: National Operations Manager
     

Job Purpose
Regional Managers must be abreast with Company’s policies and procedures since they are the representatives of Managements at the Regions. They are required to understand the functions of the company’s operational software (Baylend) in order to offer immediate assistance to the Branches.

General Supervision

  • Responsible for the operational performance of branches within region.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching, guidance and leadership to branch staff including tellers, mobile teams and direct sales consultants.
  • Evaluate branch performance and advise management on any required corrective measures to be taken.
  • Ensure cordial working relationship between the Sales Executive and the Branches. 
  • Confirm branch compliance with company reporting (daily report pack) and record keeping procedures.
  • Visit and evaluate branch office performance on a regular basis
  • Monitor and report on progress toward branch targets. 
  • Reinforces core service values to ensure good customer service. 
  • Assists staff in developing and maintaining knowledge of company product and service offerings. 
  • Assists management in development and implementation of branch sales and marketing plans. 
  • Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that Head Office is promptly informed of any problem that cannot be handled at regional level.
  • Ensure that Employer clients outside the Accra pay their employees’ monthly deductions on time.
  • Assist in Arrears Management by following up and receiving  payments from Employer Client ( especially regional managers in the Middle and Northern Regions)
  • Liaise with Finance Department in ensuring effective Branch Cash management
  • Liaise with Credit Department for the effective implementation of Credit Policies by Branches
  • Excellent Branch ambience and Housekeeping
  • Smooth running of Branch Operations in the Region

Marketing

  • Maintain cordial relationship with Employer Clients 
  • Identify potential client and liaise  with the  Marketing Department for possible market penetration 

Conflict Resolution

  • Assist in resolution of customer and employee grievances. 
  • Assist management to resolve employee grievances and conflicts by reporting such conflicts, grievances, misconducts etc. to the Human Resource Manager.

Reports 
Submission of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports on Branches /Pay Point performance (Including Sales Executives and Branch Sales Officers Units)

Required Skills or Experience

1st Degree or its equivalents plus relevant hands on experience

Knowledge and Experience

  • Direct Sales and Marketing experience in the NBFI industry. 
  • 3-5 years  management experience
