Job Description

A leading Savings and Loans Company in Ghana seeks the services of Direct Sales Representatives (DRSs). The purpose of this position is to accept new deposit, mobilize funds from the field, mobilize loan repayments and cross sell our products. 

The Position

• The position reports to an area Direct Sales Supervisor.
• The positions are located in the following areas: Madina, Tesano, Tema, Ashiaman, Kumasi, and Derby Avenue.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for intensive mobilization of deposits from the field according to assigned routes
• Handles the opening of savings account, and other deposit products on the field.
• Report all problems and developments encountered on the field to supervisor.
• Markets bank products and services through cross selling and referrals.
• Develops and recommends quality improvement processes for the New Accounts Section.
• Displays a high level or standard of cleanliness, courtesy and discipline in dealing with clients as a measure of public relations.
• Ensure compliance in operational and  internal control, regulatory policies, procedures and systems in branch
•  Keeps abreast of current developments in microfinance and banking industry including micro and macro environmental factors and trends.

Required Skills or Experience

• WASSE Certificate or equivalent diploma from a reputable college
• Basic customer service experience

• Ability to monitor and assess achievements against performance targets and quality standards
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Ability to develop, establish and build relationships with current and prospective clients
• Self-motivated team-player with the ability to adapt and work co-operatively and effectively in different situations and teams to carry out assigned task
• Intermediate skills in personal computer operation
