Job Description

Tasks:

• Child Development
• Curriculum Development

Job Duties:

• Developing and implementing lesson plans, using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
• Organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc)
• Liaising with parents in child’s development and progress
• Maintaining records, monitoring and recording progress of child and teaching assistants.

This role reports to the Principal and Administrator

Required Skills or Experience

Experience:

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role. Should have completed National Service where necessary.

Core Competencies

Knowledge

• Minimum of Diploma in Education (Child Education)
• Early years teacher status (EYTS) Certificate
• Should be tech savvy especially using Apple ipads.
