• Initiate, implement, and manage the maintenance strategies based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling preventative/reactive maintenance.
• Manages a team of outsourced maintenance contractors and ensures that maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost‐effective manner.
• Widen the pool of Outsourced contractors as a continuing effort to improve the quality of service offered and also develop a relationship with all existing maintenance partners, both individually and as a group
• Be available to initiate emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, as required for: failure of electrical & mechanical systems
• Carry out holistic portfolio survey to assess units for remedial maintenance, supervise refurbishment / mini project works and prepare reports as requested  
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly Maintenance reports.

Required Skills or Experience

• Good Experience and an excellent knowledge of facilities management. Experience in one or more fields of plumbing, electrical, carpentary or masonry is an added on advantage
• A valid class ‘B’ or ‘A’ driver’s license
• A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies and processes
• A good communicator, with a track record of well-organized methodical work patterns
