Category: Senior Staff Position

Scope:

• The position entails the provision of reliable financial and non- financial information by providing key measures to improving the performance of respective activities within the company.
• The position holder also advises Management with respect to investments and also puts in place the necessary strategies and tools to minimize the operational costs of the company.

Main Accountabilities:

• MA1: Ensure to follow the company activity performance analysis
• MA2: Ensure to follow the budget establishment
• MA3: Ensure that the budgetary control analysis are timely done
• MA4: Implement reporting and studies for management

Required Skills or Experience

• First Degree in Accounting  or First Degree in Finance / Administration / Commerce with Emphasis in Accounting from an accredited University
• ICA ( Part 2) or ACCA Foundation ( Level 2)
• Professional Qualification in Auditing is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience

Skills and competence:

• Advanced computer skills i.e., Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and accounting softwares
• Self-confidence to take initiatives
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Very proactive, innovative and analytical
• Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work
• Technical Accounting Expertise and ability to analyse, organise, summarise and articulate complex financial information  
• Attention to detail
• Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
• Working Knowledge in French is an added advantage
