Job Description

To ensure the smooth clearance of goods from the ports as well as their effective and efficient transportation to the various outlets

Duties and responsibilities

• Handle custom declaration and clearance of goods at the ports
• Manage customs documentation
• Handle the total chain of import documentation activities
• Liaise  with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth clearing of goods at the ports
• Track, check and identify goods on arrival at the ports
• Reconcile records
• Ensure the timely clearance of goods from the ports and their on-ward distribution to our various outlets

Required Skills or Experience

• Hold a bachelor degree in shipping/forwarding and clearing management
• Have at least 2 years working experience in logistics
• Have complete knowledge of import formalities
• Have knowledge of government  rules and custom procedures relating to clearing
• Applicants should live around Tema and its environs
