Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that a company has a very clear strategy when purchasing goods and services. He/she may set policies for purchasing that take into account budgets, stock requirements and skills required. The role reports to the Head of Finance.

Role Specific Requirement:

• Identify and research potential new suppliers.
• Assess total costs of company purchases
• Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
• Oversees a team of purchasing agents
• Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
• Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
• Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.

Required Skills or Experience

• ​Bachelor's Degree
• MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years experience with similar experience
• Understanding of Supply Chain management Procedures
