Responsibilities

• Ensure relevant Safety, Mining and other statutory Codes and Regulations remain in full compliance.
• Operate the Shotcrete machine for mine development according to quality specifications safely and efficiently.
• Project / manage existing mine shotcreting solutions and make the necessary recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Be the go-to expert in mine shotcreting systems and methodologies
• Provide reliable and accurate operational knowledge and practical application to minimize down time and loss of production.
• Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned by your supervisor.                                            

Required Skills or Experience

• Must possess at least MSLC/SHS Certificate or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must have a minimum of 3- 5 years’ underground mining experience in trackless mining using shotcrete in ground support.
• Must have detailed knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Shotcreting Plans, Shotcrete mixes, AGI Truck and Batching Plant Operations.
• Must be able to read and understand designed ground support plans, detailed survey prints and layouts.
• Holder of Mine Rescue and valid First Aid Certificates will be an added advantage.
• Must have thorough understanding of underground mining operations, and solid safety performance at the personal and professional level.
• Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driver’s License with defensive driving skills on surface and underground
