Job Description

Principal Duties

• Provide technical and operational leadership and support for all new and existing projects.
• Oversee the efficient repair and maintenance of all existing and new sites within the FSE zone/cluster.
• Responsible for the efficient operation of water stations to ensure sustainability and attainment of set objectives
• Responsible for the day to day running or management of the water stations.
• Lead and or direct the work of all FSE officers, technicians, operators and vendors at all H₂OME Water Stations within the FSE zone/cluster.
• Recruit and train operators and vendors with the help of FSE Officers within the zone/cluster.
• Provide regular and timely reports to management.
• Responsible for the collection, banking and accounting of all monies from SWN Water Stations.
• Liaise with all community members and officials including public and traditional authorities within the cluster area.
• Identify new communities and sites eligible for SWN support or water systems.
• Liaise with the construction team regarding the construction and installation of new water systems.
• Ensure excellent communication and harmonization of efforts amongst team and all other stakeholders.
• Train and coach other members of staff.

Required Skills or Experience

• Possess at least a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations or Project Management or related field.
• Preferable from a beverage industry.
• Experience in Project Cycle Management (Project design, implementation and evaluation)
• Have at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Have excellent communication and project management skills.
• Having relevant field experience working and leading teams. 

Key Performance Indicators

• Ensure stations’ operational, financial and consumer targets are met
• Ensure minimal downtimes, improve financial and operational viability of station portfolio
• Efficient management of FSE team.
• Accurate staff performance and coaching to ensure success
• Manage inception, operation and maintenance of water systems
