Job Description

The Company is a reputable free Zones Company that is into the production, packaging and sale of vegetable cooking oil for the local market and the sub region. The company is located near Madina in the Greater Accra Region.

As a result of growth and the expansion, the company has vacancies for the following position: Sales and Marketing Officer – 2 Each for Greater Accra, Northern, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Eastern and the Central Regions

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for distributors/ wholesalers in the assigned territory and reporting to the Sales Manager.
  • Attending to customer enquiries and complaints appropriately and forwarding them to management.
  • Ensuring that goods dispatched from the factory gets to the appropriate destinations on time through decent interactions with the Warehouse Manager and the Transport Officer.
  • Monitors budget and tracks all expenses and disbursements against the budget.
  • Acting as the contact person between the company and its customers/markets.
  • Attending all monthly performance reviews organized by management of the company.
  • Taking part in market surveys, promotions and other market related jobs.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly sales report to the immediate manager with appropriate recommendations.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Degree/HND in Marketing/Sales from an accredited institution or recognized professional qualification.
  • Minimum five (3) years of experience in Sales and Marketing  management.
  • Experience in the sale of food products is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel and other relevant computer applications
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance/supervision and manage priorities and work flow
  • Versatility, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
  • Relationship-building skills. Demonstrable ability of team work, excellent interpersonal skills as necessary to work effectively with persons on all levels both inside and outside the company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
