Job Description

Our client, a global health organization with the aim of improving the health of people in developing countries is looking for a well-organized and a proactive Call Center Operator to help with their operations in Ghana.

 ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will provide Customer Care Service and Support to the organisation

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Responsibilities:

  • Process calls from households and desludgers
  • Query the system (computer software) to consult the customer file
  • Create new customer files
  • Navigate on an interactive map and locate landmarks and neighborhoods
  • Manage service requests and follow up on callers’ requests
  • Communicate positively and effectively with households and desludgers
  • Use and update databases
  • Complete a Daily log

Required Skills or Experience

  • Degree Business Administration (Management Option), equivalent of 2 years at the university of Ghana
  • Must have 3-5 years’ experience in call centre operation
  • 2 years in call center, customer service, or similar position
  • Must have a marketing background and/or a computer science degree would be preferred;
  • Having already worked on databases would be appreciated.

REQUIREMENT

  • Must have a very good knowledge of IT tools and Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Excel
  • Have a good knowledge of the geography of the city of Accra and its various districts and neighborhoods
  • Have a good sense of orientation and virtual navigation
  • Dynamic, rigorous, responsive and well organized
  • Very good communication skills, with a perfect command of English (oral and written), Twi (oral) and Ga (oral);
