Job Description

  • Will take full responsibility of the kitchen
  • Supervise catering staff
  • Recruit and train catering staff
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed
  • Monitor the quality of the service provided
  • keep financial and administrative records
  • maintain stock levels and order new supplies as required
  • Should know how to cook and should know management as well
  • Make new additions to the menu as it is good for the business
  • Must be able to Present meals in an attractive way
  • Should be able to provide breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner to staff and clients
  • Should be able to prepare healthy meals for clients and staff
  • Source all ingredients for planned menu in advance
  • Plan menus with us or our customers to ensure all meals meet the customer’s expectations
  • Consult with customers about their preferred meals prior to preparing the meals
  • Clean up the kitchen daily
  • Perform side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
  • Understand safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following
  • established procedures, policies, training and involvement activities

Required Skills or Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in catering preferred
  • Possession of a full-service catering staff required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Must be able to do simple arithmetic in all units of measure, using common fractions, whole numbers, and decimals. In fact, must be able to do simple mathematical calculation.
  • Must be able to make independence decisions.
  • Must have time Management Skills
