Job Description

• Develops and implements safety policies to help employers reduce accident-related costs and prevent losses
• Keeps up to date with all new legislation and development in H&SE and advising the organization of any changes
• Handles training for emergency procedures and work place related health and safety topics
• Carries out safety inspections
• Responsible for all quality control measures and directions
• Monitors to ensure that workers comply to new policies
• Records and investigates accidents and incidents and completes reports, as needed.
• Conducts incident accident investigations and provides a report to management with recommendation
• Provides training information and educational activities
• COSHH conduct assessment control of substances hazardous and health
• Conducts weekly toolbox meeting on monthly basis
• Conducts internal and external control audit. Attend external meetings organized by EPA and other reputable house with sectional Heads for advice, suggestions, directions etc
• Responsible for the 1^st Aid
• Conducts internal Audit to ensure that every department /unit are in compliance of the health and safety directives and regulations.
• Any other duty that may be assigned to you from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

• Coordinates organizational health, safety and environmental policies and regulations to ensure a health, safe and environmental compliant working environment
• Designs and maintains inspection records
• Provides direction for all quality control activities and advise in the day-to-day operations
• Applicants must live in Tema and its environs
