Job Description

• Leads and manages the accounts department of the company
• Assists in developing overall strategy for the group’s future direction and financial and tax strategies.
• Liaises with external auditors on all statutory audits.
• Develops annual, quarterly and monthly financial plan and accounting program based the business plan and priorities of the company
• Prepares and submits periodic reports on operational performance.
• Preparations and management of annual budget
• Preparations and reporting and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for Management
• Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate financial controls and processes.
• Manages the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Assesses group performance against budget and long term strategy monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Manages finance team in providing support across the group.
• Train, develop and coach members of the finance team in operational best practices
• Any other duty that may be assigned to you from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

• MBA Finance / Accounting will be an added advantage
• Chartered Accountant with membership of a recognized professional accountancy body e.g. ACCA, ICA, CPA.
