JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to read, understand and interpret blue prints
• Installer Certification from one or more manufacturers like Panduit, Systimax Ortonics, Leviton preferred
• Must be able to lift minimum 40kg weights.
• Must pass a drug test, background check and I9 screening

Required Skills or Experience

• This is a field level position pulling new cable, terminating and repairing cable.
• MUST HAVE VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE IN CABLE FIELD INSTALLATIONS
• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and repairing voice and data lines
• Install, terminate and test copper cable (CAT-3 through CAT-6)
• Use of network and cable test equipment, including the use of an ohm meter
• Mount termination hardware, backboards and racks
• Install raceway, cable trays and conduits as needed
• Learn and adhere to all required safety standards
• Use basic hand tools, have a full understanding of the operation of power tools
• Install communication outlets in floors, walls and raceways
• Knowledge of industry standard color codes and terminations

QUALIFICATION: EET PART I, II, III OR HND IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must be willing to attend with short notice, job interviews in Accra and or Takoradi
• Successful candidates will be required to start with short notice.
