Job Description

  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Responsible for heading up their expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
  • Building relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spend.
  • Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization.
  • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements.
  • You will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets.

Required Skills or Experience

This role requires a business development personnel who is used to working to target and the following :

  • Proven track record in good interpersonal relationship, sales, business development and winning new business
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and
  • Illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry.
  • The ideal candidate must have a degree in marketing, finance, investments or any relevant related field
  • Ghana Securities Industry Certificate
