A Reputable Organisation

The successful applicant shall be responsible for all matters concerning litigation. He / she shall be responsible for ensuring effective and timely legal advice, analysis and support for the Organisation on litigation matters and dispute resolution. The role reports to the Head of Legal.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Work with internal stakeholders to develop effective structures for resolution of litigation.
• Identify areas of risk for the Organisation in relation to ligation issues and dispute resolution as well as assisting in providing solutions to manage such risks.
• Work with relevant institutions and functions within and outside the Organisation to gather needed documents and evidence to support investigations on suit and legal disputes.
• Act as a day to day interface between the Organisation and external counsel and provide information and instructions to external counsel on specific matters.
• Influence and assist in discussions between clients and other functions within the Organisation to ensure best legal solution to meet litigation and dispute resolution.
• Draft and negotiate all relevant legal documents relating to litigation matters and disputes on behalf of the Organisation.

Required Skills or Experience

·         LLB from a recognised University

·         Minimum of 10 years as a member of the Ghana Bar Association.

·         Experience of working in a multinational Organization will be an advantage
