Introduction:

GeniusEvents & Services Limited is a value-driven event planning, management and travel and tour company. We offer customized support to corporate and social events. Located in Accra, Ghana, we serve as a one-stop provider responding to the A-Z of planning and executing all events and ceremonies successfully. We give every event the attention and uniqueness it deserves by tailoring plans to suit the expectations of our clients in record time. Our target market includes Corporate Institutions, individuals, religious bodies, charity organizations, educational institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate shall undertake inter alia the following duties and assist with the set up of other ‘Genius’businesses:

  • Responding to phone calls, enquiries, taking orders/bookings and handling all complaints of clients in a professional manner
  • Maintaining and managing customer files and databases
  • Ensuring active management of the business websites and uploading information and materials as much as possible
  • Assisting with other ‘Genius’businesses including GeniusMode (online fabric sales) and GeniusBrain consulting services.
  • Implementing company policies and procedures as it pertains to staff and also good customer services.
  • Handling all secretarial and administrative roles
  • Managing and checking deliveries and goods shipped to Ghana.
  • o Set systems and processes for checking goods delivered and confirmations of all deliveries to clients.
  • o Assisting with shipments received at the port
  • Preparation of receipts and payment accounts.
  • Market ‘the business’on various social media platforms and put out marketing strategies
  • Any other duty as deemed necessary

Required Skills or Experience

Required:

  • Interest National service persons/interns should possess at least a first degree or higher national diploma certificate in Management or Administration.
  • Have good working skills in the use of Microsoft Office tools; good numeracy skills and excellent social media skills including preferably basic website management skill.
  • Ability to multitask, focus and give attention to detail.
  • Good writing skill and able to manage clients professionally.

Essential

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, pleasant disposition and fluent in English language.
  • S/he must be people centered, able to work with own initiative, presentable, polite and tactful.
