Scope:

• The position entails revamping the security function and operations of the Corporate Affairs Department within the Company.  

Functions/Activities:

• Provide support to the Security Supervisor to protect corporate personnel and properties.
• Assist in the Management of all aspects of the administration and functions of Contract security guards regarding fire control and physical security of the premises, first aid procedures, use of equipment and operation of automated alarm and video surveillance system.
• Ensure that Zonal patrols are conducted to check security of the company’s installations, personnel and adherence to rules and regulations.
• Obtain security information and produce background documents relating to incidents that affect safety and security within the company.
• Conduct investigations as directed and prepares concise reports on accidents and incidents involving the company’s personnel, installations and equipment.
• Participate in conducting threat assessment and site surveys.

Required Skills or Experience

Education:

• Must hold at least a Senior High School Certificate (or equivalent)

Experience:

• Minimum of Six years of progressive experience as a Supervisor with a Reputable Security Firm or not below the rank of senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) in the Military or not below the rank of Chief Inspector in the Ghana Police Service.   

Skills and competence

• Good knowledge of protection mechanisms and techniques combined with Military, Police or security specialization.
• Demonstrates professional competence and mastery of role in Security issues
• Foresees risks and allows for contingencies when planning
• Emotional stability

Physical Condition

• Must be Medically fit by the Company Standards
• Height of at least 1.7 metres
• Aged between 30 and 45 years
