To date, DRIAN together with its parent Institution (FOP) have evaluated the implementation of over 37 development programs in 17 countries in Africa, Asia and South America. 

Job Description

DRIAN Ghana has recently secured donor funding to implement & evaluate 2 projects in Northern Ghana within the Agricultural and Education Sectors. The Agricultural Project; dubbed SEED (Solutions for agricultural Enterprise & Extension Development) will be implemented in 120 selected communities in 12 districts from the three regions of northern Ghana. The Education Project; dubbed PARADE (Progressive Aid & Reading Assistance for Development) will be implemented in partnership with 40 public and private basic schools within the three regions of Northern Ghana.

To carry out the piloting, implementation and evaluation of the projects mentioned above, DRIAN Ghana is recruiting qualified persons to fill the following medium and long term positions on its program teams.

Job Descriptions - Field Officers (Multiple)

• Form part of census teams to collect prescribed data on sampled project communities
• Administer questionnaires to respondents & ensure timely delivery of data to project database
• Assist implementation partners in the delivery of project interventions to beneficiaries
• Serve as primary point of contact for beneficiaries in addressing concerns & providing assistance.
• Prepare brief daily field reports for supervisor on the progress of field activities

Required Skills or Experience

• HND Level Education or higher
• Experience in data collection and general field work
• Own a motorbike and helmet (able to ride safely)
• Speak one or more of the major Northern languages
