Job Description

Mainly plan, coordinate and organize all construction and maintenance activities.

Activities include;

• Construction
• Renovation
• Maintenance and repairs of equipment, buildings and all other facilities for the company.

Detail of Job Description

• Administer contract with vendors, contractors and consultants for the department
• Develop professional relationships for the supply of service and material for the workshop
• Organize procurement of materials and parts and plan for future needs for the department
• Organize and provide directions for receiving, storing and issuing inventory including verification of quantity and quality.
• Performs regular material audit to ensure control and systems accuracy
• Maintain data base of consultants, contractors and vendors
• Prepare budget for the department on all projects and activities where necessary
• Prepare and manage job cards within the department and from other department of the company and follow up to make sure jobs are timely executed.
• Prepare priority list in consultation with the fleet and maintenance manager
• Organize weekly construction and maintenance meeting, prepare work activity list on major projects and send progress report to management
• Make sure time sheets for all construction and maintenance activities are dully completed for signing by the Fleet and maintenance manager  
• Ensure that service report by mechanics and electricians are dully completed daily and filed accordingly
• Prepare and execute leave schedule/for the construction and maintenance department
