• Job title: Country Manager
• Location: Senegal

Purpose
Country Manager will represent the company in a foreign country which involves working to manage operations, develop business and increase profitability for a company in a specific region or country. Within corporate relocations and international removals, a Country Manager needs to have specialist skills and knowledge relating to this sector

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, lead and manage rice and oil consumer packaging and distribution 
• Manage all commercial negotiations in the interest of the business
• Oversee the construction of a palm oil and rice refinery and storage facilities
• Responsible for the overall direction, sales, marketing and commercial activities.
• Formulate and develop execution plans and business strategies to setup a new business line.
• Help front & advocate for the interests of the business when it comes to cross border trade and investment within the country. This may involve representing company within Senegal, regional and international business forum.
• Work with business, joint venture partners and stake holders to propose, drive and develop the business in Senegal.
• Responsible for business revenue and profit of company in Senegal
• Responsible to develop new client within the oil and rice business
• Provide market intelligence information and business environment studies on the oil and rice business.

Required Skills or Experience

• BS in Degree in International Business & Commerce.
• 10+ years proven working experience in business & commercial experience in a senior managerial capacity, with a well-developed network in FMCG Industry.
• FMCG Industry 
• A good understanding of international oil and rice business environment, as well as economics & political trends as they impact business.
• Willingness to travel if required. 
• Good analytical, consultation, planning, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Able to work in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Must be familiar with computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel etc.
• A full clean driving license.
• Must be fluent in French
