Job Description

Company
The company started it subsidiary operations in Ghana in April 2004 as a trading company. Over the years we have expanded into manufacturing in the areas of FMCG (Washing powder, dish soaps etc), Hardware (Roofing sheet, nails steel pipes etc) and Ceramics. 
The business has branches in Ashanti, Western and Greater Accra regions in Ghana. We also have operations in Togo, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya and still expanding in Africa.

  • Position Purpose: 
 
The purpose of this position is to play the critical role of project sales. The incumbent will be responsible for big account sales project for constructions in the country. The project sales manager will be required to meet sales target consistently.  She/he will be in change for the planning and deploying of sales strategies for real estate developers, contractors and government project. 
 
Significant Working Relationships
  • Internal : Managing Director, Ceramic Manufacturing Head, HMMC Country Manager   
  • External : Real Estate Developers, Government Relations, Contractors and bulk purchasers

Required Skills or Experience

  • Working experience in the sales of building materials and products is required. Professional certification or membership in CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • A strong statistical background.
  • Skills and Experience required 8+ years as sales operations at least 3 years in sales supervisory and above.
  • Project sales operations knowledge and experience in building construction industry.
  • Big account clientele management understanding.  
  • Experience of working in a multinational company.
  • Must understand the levers that drive business success ( Good business acumen)
  • Good working knowledge of full employee lifecycle
  • Computer Skills:
  • Must be Internet and IT systems savvy 
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
Languages:
Must be fluent in written and spoken English

  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong capability with exceptional attention to detail
  • Good Interpersonal & self-management capability, display energy, build relationships; collaborate with relevant stakeholders and support structures.
