Job Description

Job Purpose

This role requires the provision of legal advisory services.

Job Responsibility

The candidate is responsible for

Monitor compliance with statutory obligations.
Review and advice Departmental Head on ongoing cases.
Review and provide legal advice on credit risk documents.
Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support business activities
Liaise with relevant departments to identify risk and take appropriate actions to litigate such risks.
Review and draft contracts, agreements & internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory requirements.

Reporting:

The Legal Officer shall report to the Head, Legal.

Required Skills or Experience

An LLB degree from a reputable University
Must be a member to the Ghana Bar Association
At least 2 years work experience ideally in a financial organization
