Job Description

The position assist FM to ensure that daily sales reports are correctly checked as to accuracy before posted into the books accounts, company GL accounts are properly maintained and updated on daily basis and daily Material movement is checked as to accuracy before posted into the books of accounts as consumption to Maintain Finance target of closing accounting entry by 4^th/5^th As per company calendar.

Material Responsibilities.

• Participate in in finalizing monthly/Quarterly/yearly financial reports as per check list.

• Checking system report with Physical and Manual report.

• Stock counting (FG, RM, Chemicals) on weekly basis and comparing with Books stock, Passing Stock Journals in system

• Prepare GRN with accuracy

• Posting manufacturing journal on daily basis.

Fixed Assets: Responsibilities:

To ensure that company fixed assets are properly maintained and updated on daily basis. Maintain Finance target of closing accounting entry by 4^TH, 5^TH 

• Update fixed assets register.
• Reconcile fixed asset register with GL accounts
• Monitoring engineering store files and updating local and imported spares
• Preparation of Bar coding for fixed assets all locations
• Do reconciliation of cooler list as per cooler section
• Data entry for  foreign payments
• Balancing engineering spares and physical on monthly basis.
• Prepare fixed asset schedules on closing final accounts.
• Analysis of disposal of fixed assets and pass entry in accounting system.

General ledge Responsibilities:

• Daily sales booking and reporting
• Preparing of…accounts. Schedule on monthly basis.
• Provide schedules for  statutory audit.
• Reviewing  creditors ledger accounts (local and forex)
• Ensure monthly provision for all expenses .been done properly.

Sales Responsibilities

• Produce VAT returns on monthly basis
• Submit Ageing report for credit customers. Take action for collection.
• Controlling Export under close supervision of finance Manager

Required Skills or Experience

• Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or a related field and at least 5 years working experience in similar  responsibilities
• Chartered Accountant / ACCA/CIMA with 2 years’ experience
