Job Description

The Human Resource Consultant works at an operational level with multiple stakeholders to implement and deliver keys HR initiatives as the key interface between labour brokerage clients and EWS;translate  business requirement into effective HR practices across the Empower Group delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives and support workforce consulting projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Labour Brokerage

  • Develop and implement strategies closely with the Talent Specialist to build and maintain a database of quality talent of various career levels.
  • Manage employee records ensuring information is current at all time.
  • Coordinates and manages onboarding programmes for new workers to inform them about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
  • Payroll administration
  • Ensure all benefits are administrated as per contract (e.g. Health insurance, commissions, transport etc.)
  • Implement employee engagement strategies e.g. monthly site meetings with workers, training coordination etc.
  • Assist in disciplinary measures, employee negotiations and termination procedures
  • Implement employee satisfaction surveys
  • Receive and log all complaints and ensure all complaints are addressed within the shortest possible time. Ensure clients are invoiced on time and monitor monthly payments.
  • Mange client relationships to ensure long term retention.

Human Resources 

  • Support units heads with recruitment and selection :identify potential resourcing
  • Employee Retention: Act as the first line of contract for any employee relations issues from junior to supervisory level roles ensuring the CEO is made aware of any sensitive employee relation issues that arise as appropriate.
  • Support people managers to manage employee relations issues using Empower policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Training and development: Partner with people managers to identify training needs and implement quarterly training programmes as developed with the CEO.
  • Manage all promotions up to supervisory career level in consultation with the relevant people managers and CEO to ensure reflection of competence, diversity and comparability with like for like roles in across the Group.
  • Reward & Remuneration: Lead continuous salary and benefits surveys to ensure EWS is competitively positioned.
  • Ensure that all HR projects, initiatives, processes, changes and policies are appropriately communicated to the relevant stakeholders and implemented.
  • Lead and manage welfare programmes and initiatives
  • Administration, Systems & Records:  promote the use of and ensure adherence to HR systems, policies and processes, challenging appropriately as necessary.
  • Manage exit processes for staff, carrying out exit interviews etc.

Support in the delivery workforce consulting & virtual HR projects to client.
