We are a non-bank financial institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana to provide financial services. As part of our expansion program and business strategy, we require the services of a smart, confident and performance oriented professional to be employed as Agric. Loan Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service;
• Client origination through active and frequent promotion in the field;
• Receive and process applications for agricultural loans;
• Appraise the creditworthiness of agricultural clients;
• Meet loan disbursement targets that are set by management from time to time;
• Be a diligent member of the branch credit committee;
• Regularly monitor loans in the loan officer’s portfolio;
• Maintain an excellent quality loan portfolio;
• Establish and maintain contacts with local leaders, extension workers, LBCs and other players in agricultural sector;
• Give feedback to management to further improve agricultural lending;
• Willingness to spend most of the working time in the field with clients;
• Willingness to acquire a driving permit for a motorcycle.

Required Skills or Experience

• Diploma in Agricultural Sciences from Kwadaso Agric College, Ejura Agric College and Damango Agric College;
• Affiliation with the agricultural sector and the rural population;
• Excellent mathematical skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially MS-Excel

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of crops such as Rice, Soya and Maize;
• Additional knowledge in Cassava, Tomato and Watermelon cultivation.

• Very good analytical and report writing skills
