Job Description

The Centre for Plant Medicine Research, Mampong-Akuapem is an agency under the Ministry of Health with a mandate to undertake Research and Development into plant medicine.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the following appointments in the above institution.

DUTIES

Supervision of collection and processing of raw plant parts for the production of medicines
Collection of plant specimens for various projects
Preparation of voucher specimen of plant species to be stored at the Centre's Herbarium
Any other duties presented by Executive Director

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

Shall be subjected to the Single Spine Salary Structure and conditions of Senior Officers of the Centre.

Required Skills or Experience

Applicant must have BSc. In Botany or Biology or Agric with a minimum of two (2) years post qualification work experience.
