ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (BUILDING SERVICES)

An infrastructure developer urgently requires the services of an Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) for immediate employment on a Building Project full-time contract for a 1yr duration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Consultant on site on a Hospital Project as the Electrical Engineering Project Manager.
• Supervise the Contractor to adhere to all relevant codes of Practice.
• Review and amend existing designs.

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of a BSc or BE in Electrical Engineering or Similar qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design and supervision of Electrical Systems on buildings.
• Experience in working in an Electrical Engineering Consulting Firm
• Ability to use relevant application software and Manual Calculations to design and process Electrical Drawings.
• Knowledge of relevant Standards and codes with regards to Building Services(electrical), testing and commissioning of an entire electrical system of a multi-storey building.
