Job Description

The Digital Fundraising Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, management and performance of all digital fundraising efforts. This position will provide expertise and leadership as it relates to optimizing digital platforms, driving digital fundraising and engagement, leveraging data to drive decisions, collaborating to integrate with offline strategies, increasing brand awareness, and supporting service offerings for the entire organization.  The candidate will design a  compelling digital fundraising two-year strategy with measurable impact including campaigns, appeals, crowd funding and social media fundraising and lead implemetion via support staff in four languages and six diffrent counties.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of  the digital fundraising strategies.
  • Synthesize large amounts of data across multiple platforms into Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that can be used to assess ROI and drive strategic decision making.
  • Responsible for all aspects of  the website (analytics, content management, user experience, testing and optimization) to ensure the breadth of departmental goals are met within the content and framework of the website.
  • Work collaboratively with Develpment team to provide digital channel solutions to meet fundraising objectives.
  • Lead coordination of internal and external partners and stakeholders to execute digital strategies.
  • Develop and manage all digital platforms, SEO/SEM, e-mail, social media and digital advertising campaigns to optimize website experiences and drive relevant traffic.
  • Utilize behavioral targeting and segmentation to increase the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  • Identify and evaluate trends, tools and technologies within the digital marketing landscape for potential implementation to drive performance.
  • Design, implement and maintain social media strategies, messaging and overall presence.
  • Identify new and creative digital marketing growth strategies.
  • Lead a testing & optimization program using data to drive results.
  • Measure, monitor and improve overall user experience through qualitative and quantitative user testing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to create landing pages.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that digital marketing campaigns promote and cultivate donor engagement.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and laws; maintain accountability standards to donors.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws including: training in job skills; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Establishes an environment of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning, a commitment to quality, welcomes and encourages collaboration, and fosters both intra and inter-departmental dialogue and respect.

Required Skills or Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing required
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with website analytics tools and resources required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing successful paid media campaigns including paid search & paid social required
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing agency partners and/or external resources required
  • Experience leading internal and external teams who oversee Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Marketing Automation, and social media campaigns required
  • Experience developing innovative and targeted digital campaigns that engage strategically segmented audiences required
  • Experience optimizing landing pages and user funnels required
  • Experience with user behavior tools
  • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization tools and strategy required.
  • Experience developing digital campaigns in the non-profit sector strongly preferred
  • Experience providing digital channel solutions to meet fundraising objectives preferred
  • Familiarity with fundraising software tools preferred
