Job Description

Job Profile

  • The successful applicant will work in the marketing team of an educational institution (university).
  • The incumbent will report directly to the Director and will be in charge of all aspects of the institution’s brand.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the designing and execution the university’s marketing and communications plan
  • Manage all aspects of the institution’s brand
  • Develop concepts for all illustrations, publicity materials and the website
  • Develop content for social media platforms and home campus communication platforms in a timely manner
  • Build and sustain good relationship with media houses and other external stake holders
  • Organize and coordinate admissions/enrollment events, public lectures and thought leadership seminars.

Duration: Two-year contract (renewable based upon performance)

Remuneration: Competitive

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Publishing, Communications or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively in a team, ensuring that deadlines are met and all output is of the highest quality
  • Experience with marketing
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding in product and service marketing
  • Experience in working in a fast paced environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • An appreciable knowledge/experience in photography and videography will be an added advantage
