Job Description

A reputable Organization seeks a Business Development Manager

Job location: Tamale

Overall Responsibilities

  • Devises, develops and delivers a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development at the branch level. 
  • Leads the growth of sales and develops new business sales opportunities for the full range of the Company’s products.

Main Tasks

Strategy

  1. Devises, develops and delivers a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development activities and all related issues.
  2. Aligns the business development strategy with other Company strategies and programmes, and seeks to maximise effectiveness through collaboration.
  3. Assists in providing strategic leadership and management, ensuring that the Company’s vision is not lost in its daily operations.

Sales

  1. Pro-actively identifies new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales.
  2. Identifies and develops new products and business opportunities with identified key target clients.
  3. Assists in reviewing and developing all advertising-related opportunities for the Company and works with the Management to include these into the fund mobilisation plans.
  4. Innovates, offers new ideas, and approaches for developing the Company, building relationships with other prospective business partners and with other networks where appropriate.
  5. Develops high-quality written content for different communication channels including emails, adverts, presentations, etc.

Required Skills or Experience

  1. Minimum of first degree
  2. Must be SEC licensed
  3. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the industry or related field with relevant proven records.
