Job Description

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company has a strategy when procuring goods and services. He/She will ensure compliance with procurement policies and practices and also take into account budgets and stock requirements.

Role Specific Requirements:

• Ensure the availability of Stock to meet demand.
• Monitoring stock level.
• Overseeing the ordering and packaging process.
• Ensuring products arrive at their destination (proof).
• Ensure the materials delivered are of good quality.
• Ensuring there is a purchasing policy that all purchases must adhere to.
• Choosing the suppliers that the Company will deal with and maintaining the legal interaction with them.
• Manage any Agreements between the suppliers and the Company, if any.
• Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting, manufacturing and stock departments.

Required Skills or Experience

Required Skills and Experience:

• First Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any in related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Good understanding of procurement principles and practices.
• Strong time management skills.
