Description The programme aims to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of highly marginalized out-of-school girls and transition them into formal school or employment. This programme seeks to decrease key barriers to access quality education, opportunities for employment and improving safety of highly marginalized girls in schools and their communities, while increasing girls’ knowledge and adoption of positive behaviours, empowering them to become leaders and role models within their communities. The Grants and Finance Officer reports to the Grants Manager and is responsible for distributing, managing, monitoring and reporting on sub-awardee grants as well as managing and reporting the WEI Tamale Office finances. The Grants and Finance Officer will serve as the regional contact for Northern Sector sub-awardees on all financial issues. She/he will work closely with NGO Downstream Partners to provide support and capacity building for financial structures within NGO Downstream Partners.
