Roles & Responsibilities

• Review all Programmes and Forward Planning Schedules, with particular reference to Preparation, Safety and Efficiency of Operations.
• Attend all pre well DWOP’s/IWOP's/TWOP’s Liaise with Client and all 3rd Parties to maximise efficiency on dual activity (where applicable) with off line make up facilities, defining critical path and offline make up activities.  Note: This will be very much affected by the Well Program.
• Ensure necessary RSWP in place for each section of the Well Program.  Indentify the RSWP’s on the 24hr look ahead.
• Attend all preplanning operational and HSE meetings.
• With assistance of Client/STP/Safety Co-ordinators generate an electronic well file. The well file should include but not be limited to, Drilling Program, After action reviews, Casing programs/tallies, Landing weight calculations, BHA Assemblies, Drill string & landing weight Calculations / Maximum Over pull / Slip crushing etc, Fingerboard management spreadsheet, 24 hours look-ahead’s, Photographs/Videos, 3rd Party Presentations, Tubular Rotating Hours, Well Analysis.
• Assists all subcontractor companies to run their jobs and maintain a good cooperation.
• Complete Well Analysis Spreadsheet, daily, to accurately record the operations and time breakdowns, over the course of the Well.
• Work as much as possible from the drill floor to assist drill crew and 3rd Party to effectively plan for each upcoming activity.
• Monitor records for all the tallies, tubular rotating hours, tubular counts, tubular inspections and space out calculations.
• Complete a simple but effective After Action Review (AAR) for each activity on the drill floor. This should capture a) What went well b) What did not go Well c) Capture lessons learned to be included in relevant section of Forward Planning for next well.
• Monitor & Complete assigned actions within the Forward Planning Action List on Proarc.  Complete actions assigned within Synergi.
• Capture and document performance improvement ideas for the well, identifying any major equipment deficiencies or equipment enhancements to improve HSE/Operational performance.
• Update Rimdrill with Time vs. Depth curve information and Key Performance Indicators.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Work according to and promote Stena Drilling’s HS&E Policies and Procedures as well as fully commit to preventing any damage to the environment.
• Responsible and accountable to conduct their tasks in full compliance with Stena Drilling Limited procedures.
• Comply with Stena Drilling procedures for management of risk and Safe Behaviour Programme; ensuring that a suitable and sufficient risk assessment is carried out for all work activities.
• Participate in the STOP system, complete and submit cards after discussions. Monitor and coach crew members to participate in STOP and carry out STOP audits.
• Promote Stena Drilling’s “Golden Rules” and the rig’s “House Rules” during team discussions.
• Attend and participate in Tool Box Talks and After Action Reviews.
• Ensure work site is safe and that all tools used are in a satisfactory condition.
• Ensure that storage, handling and use of chemicals are done in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure equipment is secured to prevent movement due to wind or rig motion.
• Ensure familiar with correct use, type and location of all Oil Spill Equipment.
• Comply with Stena Drilling’s waste segregation policy.

Required Skills or Experience

• Suitable experience as Driller/Night Toolpusher
• Previous cyber drilling experience on a similar unit
• 12 years relative previous experience
• Experienced in all drilling calculations including pipe tallies, cement and displacement figures, slip crush and over pull calculations.
• Compliant in relieving Toolpusher/ Driller on a Ram rig system.
• IWCF Well Control Supervisors Level 4
• Seafarer Book
• Proficiency in Security Awareness
• Proficiency in Security Duties
• OPITO BOSIET/FOET
• High Pressure Testing
• TAG
• Drilling Riser Awareness
• Driller Level Cyberbase Training
• Experience as Senior Toolpusher operating drilling equipment with Cyberbase systems
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Competent to relieve Toolpusher/Driller as required
• Competent to operate all Cyber chairs
