Our client, a printing solutions company is looking to hire a competent and proactive Graphic Designer to help with their operations in Ghana.

Role Profile:
The successful candidate will prepare visual presentations by designing art and copying layouts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Plan concept by studying information and materials.
• Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
• Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
• Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in graphic designing or in a related filed
• 3-5 years’ experience in graphic designing or similar work

Skills

• Proven graphic designing experience
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)
• Highly proficient in all design aspects
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
