Job Description

  • Reports To: Country CEO
  • Coordinates With: Private Security Company Managers/Supervisors, RMs/FEs, Clients RMs/Supervisors, Guards & Visitors.
  • Responsible for: Cell Sites & Regional Offices

Purpose Of The Job

  • Protection of Life and Property.
  • Prevention and Detection of Crime.
  • Apprehension and Prosecution of Criminals.
  • Ensuring peaceful and tranquil working atmosphere.
  • Risk analyses and Corrective actions.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Ensure Protection of staff, clients, visitors and properties at Cell sites.
  • Ensure Protection of staff, clients, visitors and properties on premises.
  • Ensure Guards perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Investigate theft and immediately report
  • Liaise and interact with the emergency support services (Fire service, the Police and the Ambulance service).
  • Report all security activities / guards on a daily basis.
  • Enforce all Security, Safety and Quality Regulations at all sites/premises.
  • Ensure payment of guards by Security contractor is done monthly by obtaining evidence of payments from the Security Company and Sharing with Management.
  • Ensure SOW is issued on a PO to Security Company every month defining the placement of 24/7 and caretaker Guards on our network.
  • Enforce HSE Absolute Rules.
  • Preventing any form of financial loss.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

  • Any additional duties/responsibilities to be determined

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Monitoring all activities to ensure safety & security compliance at all times.

General Duties

  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Zero record of loss of property on the company premises and its surroundings – Maximum allowed monthly losses value: GHS 5000
  • Prompt response to emergency situation – 0% injuries due to Security
  • Incident/Crisis management – 100% availability
  • Effective management and monitoring of guards – 99% site presence
  • Well enforced Security, Safety and Quality Regulations at all sites/premises. 100% compliance
  • Timely Reporting - 1 day for internal reports 1 week for Police and other administrative reports
  • Well conducted investigations on all reports made- 100% accuracy

Required Skills or Experience

  • Age: 40 yrs – 55 yrs
  • Height: 5 ft 7 ins minimum
  • Fit & Strong
  • Nationality: Ghanaian
  • Qualification: An Ex-Police Officer

Experience

  • 10 years minimum experience in the Ghana Police Service preferable a retired police Officer.
