Job Description

A reputable Financial Institution with branches across the country is looking for a highly qualified candidate to be employed as Branch Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implements policies, procedures and ensure internal control at the branch;
• Ensures that targets agreed with the management are reached;
• Communicates effectively and implements corporate policies and strategies at the branch level;
• Plans and initiates promotional measures within the target markets of the branch;
• Prepares and submits relevant reports on branch operations to the management;
• Ensures major operations reconciliations (payment orders, inter-branch accounts and clearing) are carried out continuously and efficiently;
• Develops good customer relationships and maintains personal contact with clients in order to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Plans and controls the liquidity of the branch;
• Coordinates and supervise all branch activities, including deposits, loans, and general office management;
• Performs other human resource line management duties at the branch level in consultation with the HR department;
• Ensures that targets agreed with the management are reached; 
• Day to day management of the branch.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field;
• Must have a tertiary degree or a relevant professional qualification;
• Extensive experience on the operational activities of a Savings and Loans or Retail Banking sector.
