Job Description

Our client, an international manufacturing company is currently looking for a highly efficient and proactive Warehouse Keeper to help with their operations in Ghana.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in the company’s warehouses.

He/She will be in charge of all the warehouses, on-site and off-site.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, etc)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Required Skills or Experience

HND/Diploma in Warehouse Management

Experience

Three years’ experience as a Warehouse Keeper in any large manufacturing company

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel
• Should be able to drive and possess a valid Driver’s License
• Should be good in mathematics and have an ability to do mental calculations.
• Should be able to work under pressure.
• Should be available to work over the weekends.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Good Verbal and written communication skills
• Good numerical skills
