RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following established procedures each day, thus ensuring the kitchen floor and all work surfaces are spotless always.
• Assist the Head Chef & Cook in the meal preparations.
• Be efficient and effective in washing cooking utensils and plates during and after service.
• Report any maintenance faults as soon as they occur using our established procedures
• Prepare food alongside the  Head Chef 
• Ensure the outer kitchen is clean
• Wash up all breakfast items swiftly during service
• Be well presented at all times wearing clean chefs whites and an apron during the morning shift

Required Skills or Experience

• Passionate about food and beverage
• Desire to deliver excellent customer service
• Must be willing to work extra hours at some times
• Must have good communications skills  
• Be welcoming, friendly and helpful  
• Pleasant, professional appearance and warm personality 
• Must be tactful and patient
• Ability to quickly learn food and beverage computer systems
• Ability to read and deliver reports
• Strong interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and self-motivation to be part of a winning team
