The Presbyterian Centre for Vocational Instructors’ Development ( PRECEVID) is  a  centre  for developing the human resource base in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. PRECEVID specializes in the delivery of hospitality training within a hotel environment and located at Gyinase, Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. JOB PURPOSE

The security guard is responsible for ensuring safety and security of people and property in order to create a conducive environment for work, learning and leisure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
2. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
3. Maintain confidentiality of  information whilst protecting company assets
4. Patrol premises to detect unusual behavior and other security problems
5. Maintain law and order especially during large gatherings and events
6. Offer security and safety precautions to the public
7. Assist the public and redirect to appropriate places
8. Maintain awareness of undesirable persons at the Center
9. Respond quickly and correctly during crisis
10. Write daily incident report.
11. Perform other duties as assigned to you from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

Required Skills or Experience

A minimum of Senior High/ Technical Vocational  school certificate with some experience in the security industry. Experience in the Hospitality field is a plus.
