Job Description

A dynamic company is looking for a serious Research Assistant who will work closely with the Director to provide research and administrative support in diverse areas.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • The role holder shall be responsible for the following:
  • Conduct literature reviews for selected research topics
  • Collect, analyse and summarize data
  • Prepare interview questions, recruit and/or interview subjects for research analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality, as necessary
  • Write proposals for pitching of contracts
  • Monitor the project budget for research works
  • Attend project and other meetings on behalf of Director
  • Carry out specific projects and researches and presenting findings/Analysis
  • Produce documents , briefing papers, reports, presentations etc when required
  • Be the first point of contact for the director
  • Devise & Maintain office systems including data management and filing
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Dealing with incoming emails, posts, often corresponding on behalf of the Director
  • Preparing monthly reports with updates on all monthly activities

Working hours: Working hours will be 8am to 5pm, it may however be necessary to work overtime during peak times and when deadlines are close.

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Administration, Social Science or any relevant field
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in same or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Should be able to think critically and make decisions
  • Should be up to speed with statistical and Graphical Analysis of Data
  • Should possess strong administrative skills, excellent organisational and time  
  • management skills
  • Ability to multi task and handle pressured situations
  • Ability to manage clients, apply tact and diplomacy while maintaining high level of diplomacy
  • Reliable and able to work for extended hours when required
  • Should have a confident and professional personality
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to wor
