Blast Movement Technology has developed an innovative technology based system for open pit mining which is rapidly gaining local and international interest as word spreads of our success.

Our solution, based on both hardware and software technology accurately measures blast movement to increase ore yield and minimises dilution in every blast. We are now entering a global growth period and are expanding their team to support the demand.

Based in Accra, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a Senior Consultant with a strong background in Production Geology and Mining to join this award winning company. This role is to contribute to the team to implement their world leading technology at new customer mine sites through training, consulting and general client support.

We are looking for a Mining Technology Professional who is looking for a rewarding career offering extensive development prospects. Experience or qualifications in a suitable Engineering or Geological Field is essential. Experience in a customer facing / account management role is an asset. This position will involve extensive local and international travel.

Required Skills or Experience

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• Formal qualifications in Geology, Engineering and/or Mining
• Solid Open Pit mining industry consulting experience
• Strong experience in a relevant mining discipline (production geology, drill and blast or survey)
• Product Development and Training experience
• Excellent communication, time management and consulting skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in the implementation of technology into mining
• Experience in a customer-facing, account management type role (preferred)
• Prior experience working with integrated software and electronic technology (preferred)
• Proven ability to discover Business and technical requirements coupled with the ability to craft a solution based on those requirements
