Job Description

Business Development

  • Develop new business channels and establish broad network of decision makers in your industry.
  • Market Empower services to generate new business using a medley of creative business development activities relevant to our brand.
  • Engage decision maker in the industry on Empower’s service offering by attending meetings, delivering presentations etc.
  •  Generate and maintains prospect list to be converted into sales
  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new business initiatives
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Developing quotes and proposals in consultation with Management
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person in consultation with Management
  • Build capacity and conduct research on chosen/ assigned industry

Recruitment:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients whiles developing a good understanding of their companies, industry and work culture.
  • Deliver active relationship management and comprehensive support  to ensure an ideal and smooth placement process for both your client s and candidates
  • Manage terms of business for your clients and ensure adherence to terms in service delivery
  • Manage budget to ensure end-to -end client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and ensure on-time delivery of invoices to clients.
  • Ensure collections are current at all times in accordance with client terms of business.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Screening resumes
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Administering appropriate company assessments
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to company hiring managers
  • Coordinating interviews
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Staying current on the company’s organization structure and policies
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry association
  • Completing timely reports on employment activity
  • Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees
  • Utilize the internet for recruitment.
  • Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
  • Improve the company website recruiting section to assist in recruiting.
  • Research new ways of using the internet for recruitment.
  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

 

 

Training:

  • Conduct skills gap analyses
  • Map out long-term training plans
  • Prepare educational material
  • Select educational methods, like on-the-job coaching, conferences, workshops and e-learning courses
  • Assess the impact of training on employee performance
  • Liaise with external partners and outsource training, as needed
  • Gather feedback from trainees and trainers after each session
  • Prepare cost reports for each learning program
  • Update curriculum database and training records

Required Skills or Experience

  • BSc Human Resources Management or relevant field
  • Proven experience as an HR for not less than two (2) years
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
