Our client, a Cyber Security company is currently seeking to hire a highly efficient and proactive IT PERSONNEL to help in their operations in Ghana.

Role Profile

Successful candidate must be able to provide support for activities such as Basic code changes, Troubleshooting, User Manual and Guidance if needed for working with certain features, Content updates requested and Plugin investigation and recommendations

Duties AND Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the firm’s online web presence 
• Make suggestions and improvement to company IT presence and procedures
• Apply updates performed monthly or as and when launched
• Apply plugins and framework updates performed monthly or as and when launched
• Perform Ongoing security scanning through use of security plugins
• Perform scanning and reporting
• Monitor company website uptime

Proficiencies:

• WordPress
• Remote access operations
• Ability to connect remotely to a computer to do basic activities such as 
• Creating, modifying, deleting, copying files etc. 
• A basic understanding of file system permissions
• Basic knowledge of FTP utility
• Control panel
• Basic knowledge in Linux OS

Advantage/Prefered  

• MODX CMS
• Ajax
• Photoshop / other graphic designing tool
• MSSQL   

Required Skills or Experience

• BS/BA in computer science, IT or any relevant field
• 1-3 years’ experience in IT or any relevant field

 Qualification/ Required

• HTML / XHTML
• PHP
• MySQL
• JavaScript (Basic is fine)
• CSS (Basic is fine)

 Requirement:

• Must have idea in computer programming PHP and JavaScript
• Must be able to do graphics designing e.g.  use of adobe Photoshop and adobe illustrator
• Must possess good communication skills
• Must have basic computer and network troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to develop websites with WordPress and ModX cms
• Must have a general knowledge in html5 and css3 or any other framework
