Key Deliverables

• Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• Do the filing for the unit.
• Update petty cash electronically.
• Issue payments.
• Prepare receipts.
• Assisting in Budget Preparation.
• Assisting in the preparation of wages and salaries.
• Weekly BDC ageing analysis preparation.
• Record all bank transactions (lodgements & payments).
• Supervise preparation of payment and other vouchers.
• Raise and post all Journal vouchers.
• Ensure that proper accounting procedures are followed and assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
• Monitor inventory of debtors and assist in credit control and debt recovery
• Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

Knowledge/Skills

• Good knowledge of the various accounting packages.
• Familiar with the audit and statutory requirements
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

Minimum Qualification /Experience:

• University degree min. 2nd class lower in Finance/ Accounting.
• Minimum of 1-2 years cognate working experience (Post NYSC) in finance role with at least 1 year in a similar role.
• On-going professional qualifications necessary.
