Job Description

  • Prospect for potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities
  • Present new products and services to improve existing relationships
  • Engage internal and external contacts
  • Plan approaches and pitches by working with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Recognize opportunities for services and campaigns that will result in sales.
  • Cold call as appropriate within the market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Research and cultivate an accurate perception of the organization’s mission and goals
  • Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are fulfilled by the business development team
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
  • Meet a monthly revenue target 
  • Perform any other responsibility assigned when necessary

Required Skills or Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 3 year(s)experince in Marketing/ business development /account management experience in Advertising / Media industry
  • Experience leading external client facing communication
  • An understanding of account management client service and production cycles
  • Advanced CRM management experience/expertise

Successful candidate should also have:

  • Good business sense
  • A deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Negotiation skills
  • Plenty of initiative
